<p><span style="font-family:"ITC Officina Sans Book";color:#FF6600">CARE is seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Development within the Strategic Partnerships & Alliances (SPA) team. This individual will be responsible for managing CARE’s portfolio of partnerships
with the ICT sector, leveraging our partners’ philanthropic, talent, knowledge and product assets to create innovative solutions aligned with CARE’s mission and learning agenda. The Senior Director will work closely with CARE program and IT colleagues – both
State-side and in country offices – to identify and support opportunities for engagement. S/he will ensure that CARE is well represented in networks and meetings relevant to the role of technology in development. The ideal candidate brings experience from
the technology sector, preferably in marketing, strategy, or business development, a passion for women’s empowerment and development issues, and the ability to self-manage all aspects of complex internal and external partnerships.
<br>
The Senior Director will function autonomously. S/he will be responsible for developing CARE’s strategy for engaging the ICT sector, working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders including Country Office and program teams. The Senior Director will
need to regularly make independent decisions regarding the steps necessary to manage her/his portfolio, which includes understanding when it is important to consult with the Executive Director of the (SPA) team and others.
<br>
Primary Responsibilities: <br>
· Nourish and grow CARE’s portfolio of partnerships with ICT corporations; <br>
· Further the development of internal CARE capacity in order to identify ways to use technology in programs;
<br>
· Manage a small portfolio of foundations that fund ICT for development; <br>
· Represent CARE at meetings and in networks relevant to ICT for technology. <br>
Required Skills: <br>
· Bachelor’s degree; <br>
· 5 years of previous experience in a similar role; <br>
· Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills; <br>
· Strategic thinking; <br>
