I have found two weird jquery bugs I don't really understand in the last few days.

1. when there was a keyup [e.g. $("#email").keyup(function(){...});], my firefox kept throwing warnings about not using charCode on a keyup (which I was not doing). Switching it to document.getElementById("email").addEventListener(...); made the warnings go away.

2. when using a keypress [e.g. $("#opencloseField").keypress(function(){...});], a keypress event with event.ctrlKey set to true would always have event.metaKey set to true also, so you couldn't have just a Ctrl hotkey. I don't know what this was and it went away when I switched to addEventListener.

Just some things to look out for.
